About the Programme
Diploma in Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) is a two-year programme aimed to prepare students to work effectively as members of a healthcare team. This job-oriented programme comprises subjects like Nursing Fundamentals, Anatomy & Physiology, Psychology, Biology, Sociology, and First Aid. The programme trains students to closely assess the nursing need of patients, monitor the condition of patients and provide effective nursing care, and assist doctors in surgical procedures. Students learn to set up medical equipment in operation theatres and are adept at handling patients in emergency situations.
The students are additionally trained to be job-ready by imbibing computer and interpersonal skills which help them in advancing their role. The students are required to complete a mandatory internship that enables them to gain hands-on experience.,

Admission Criteria
Eligibility Criteria
- Only female candidates are eligible for this course.

At the time of admission, the student should be 17 years old (in December of the year of admission).
- The maximum age limit for eligibility is 35 years.
- Candidate must be 12th pass from Higher secondary board/Rajya open board/CBSE or other equivalent boards recognized by Government.

The candidate must produce a certificate of physical health from a registered medical officer.
- No maternity or abortion leave is permissible during the course. In the event of such an occurrence, the student has to discontinue her course for that particular session.
Eligibility for Examination
- Candidate should have 80% attendance in theory and 100% attendance in Hospital/community practicals.
- Candidate should have submitted all assignments.
- Candidate should have cleared all fees due.
NOTE: At the time of admission candidate is required to submit all original documents which will be returned after verification from the state Council.

Students are required to enclose the following documents with the Application Form.
- Mark list - 10th Class
- Mark list - 12th Class
- School transfer certificate (TC)
- Character certificate
- Domicile certificate
- Migration certificate (if the candidate is from out of Madhya Pradesh)
- Medical certificate
- Samagra ID, Aadhar Card, PAN Card
- Original Gap Certificate (if applicable)
- Caste certificate from eligible authority if the student belongs to ST SC OBC. This must be signed by a competent authority
- Income certificate
- Address proof
- Six passport size photographs
- Two stamp size photographs
- Affidavit I & II as per format
- Affidavit of name change (if applicable)
Attendance

No candidate shall be permitted to appear for any part of the exam until he/she completes 80% attendance in theory and 100% attendance in practical (clinical) irrespective of any kind of absence.
- Absence from college/clinical without prior notice will not be considered as leave and students will be required to make up those days during the summer and winter vacations.
Vacation
Students are eligible to get a vacation of 15 days in winter and 15 days in summer, in an academic year. No other leave is permissible.
