Medical Laboratory Technology, is one of the fast-growing fields across the globe in the health care area and the number of students opting for a Diploma in Medical Technology (DMLT) has increased over the years.

DMLT is a two-year diploma course.  It focusses on imparting a thorough knowledge of the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases through the use of clinical laboratory Equipment. This course is designed to impart in-depth knowledge & technical skills of Biochemistry Pathology Microbiology & Blood Bank and its application in the healthcare delivery system.

At the end of the course, students are well equipped to work as technicians and in handling clinical tests and laboratory equipment, microscopic and automated analyses.

 

Eligibility Criteria

Duration: 2 Years

Course Level: UG Diploma

Eligibility:10+2 (Physics, chemistry & biology) or its equivalent with 40%

Age: Minimum 17 years on/before 30th November of the year of admission.

Note: Candidates awaiting their Higher Secondary Exam results can also apply for the DMLT course.

After the successful completion of the course, students are guaranteed job opportunities because of the lack of trained paramedical professionals in India.
