On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Asmita Khelo India Program was organized at Sports Complex Ground, Sagar under the aegis of MY Bharat – Mera Yuva Bharat and the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
The NSS Unit of Ojaswini Group of Institutions, Sagar, under the patronage of Chairperson Dr. Sudha Malaiya, actively contributed as part of the organizing committee. The volunteers provided valuable support in managing arrangements and ensured the smooth conduct of the program under the guidance of NSS Programme Officer Dr. Mohd. Ashfaq Siddiqui and the leadership of Assistant Professor Amit Chaurasia.
The program was presided over by Mr. Rohit Yadav (Deputy Director, MY Bharat, Sagar) and graced by Chief Guest Mrs. Sangeeta Sushil Tiwari (Mayor, Sagar) along with other distinguished guests.
Various sports competitions for women were organized, and the winners were honored with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes. The guests appreciated the importance of women empowerment and the increasing participation of women in sports, while also praising the active and disciplined role of the NSS volunteers.
